Hello all!

This will be my first post to the listserv, as well as my first term
teaching with this "Bridging the Gap" approach. I'm fascinated by it
... and I'm learning quite a lot as I move through the course.

I am quite well-versed in Vector Calculus from a Cartesian coordinates
point of view, however not so good at creating good problems in the
polar coordinate system. My students are doing OK, but I'd like to give
them more than just my standard examples both in class and HW.

I'd appreciate samples of your problems that demonstrate the ease with
which calculuations can be performed with other coordinate systems, as
well as any other problems that you'd be willing to send. I'm looking
for test-type questions, HW questions, and good demonstration examples.

I wish I could have attended a seminar, but it just never worked out ...
but I'm glad this listserv is here! I've enjoyed reading your archives.

Thanks !!
