[BUG] updates to Instructor's Guide

For the benefit of those currently using our materials, I have posted some
further comments about the activities on the Bridge Project website at:

Most of these changes will find their way into the Instructor's Guide as soon
as I have a chance.  Comments are of course welcome, either privately or to
the mailing list.
